Experiencing Ministerial Trauma

It was 12:00 noon on a Wednesday afternoon. Mid-day bible study had just started when two detectives walked in the church with badges around their necks. Needless to say, that was the shortest bible study I ever facilitated in my life. Immediately after bible study, the detectives wanted to talk to me in my office. They proceeded to tell me about how one of the members of our church had been murdered.
